So a few years ago when I saw 11/22/63 pop up on Hulu, found out this was a story written by King, I was pretty shocked. This is not a small town mystery/horror, this is a pretty sprawling tale involving time travel, history, and no clear horror elements. Just looking at his resume, 11/22/63 doesn’t really seem to fit the bill, and even though this book was released in 2011, there hasn’t been anything else quite like this story in King’s library, making this his most unique work, and also his most ambitious.
