It all goes back to the Beginning !
Grace Ashcroft , daughter of Resident Evil Outbreak and Raccoon City Survivor gets sent in to investigate a murder case that connects it with her Mothers Death . At the Same Time Leon S. Kennedy is investigating the same murders , in which all victims used to be Raccoon City Survivors .
One of the biggest Mysteries in the Resident Evil Universe „the Raccoon City Incident“ will be finally revealed in this latest installment : Resident Evil Requiem .
I personally enjoyed my time with the game but what i liked most are the sections where you play as Grace, which shows real Survival Horror Gameplay .
The switch to Leon basically turns the game into an action adventure game or similiar to the Paul W Anderson movies . You just feel invincible as Leon which by my guess makes sense after all the horrors he witnessed .
I loved being able to explore Raccoon City for a little bit but the section before the motrocycle ride just drags and could have been cut to make the story progress faster .
I also do not understand how all those bugs that were on release in the game made it through so many reviewers and influencers etc . Do you even send feedback to the developers about what is broken ?
All in all i compare the first half of RE9 to a great survival Horror Title where the last half turns into Resident Evil The Final Chapter .
It is a good game but story wise idk where they are heading . This game basically confirms that in the remake Leon A and Claire B are canon while for the og timeline Claire A and Leon B made more sense .
