Things are especially bad on Oʻahu, where 65 people have died so far this year. On average, we’ve seen about 60 deaths per year since 2003.
It’s the second year that the Aloha State has seen an uptick in traffic fatalities. Yet prosecutions for vehicular homicides are painstakingly slow.
