11:55:00Now PlayingA passenger plane caught fire at Gimhae International Airport in South Korea late Tuesday, moments before its scheduled departure to Hong Kong. The Airbus A321, operated by Air Busan, ignited in the rear section while preparing for takeoff. Fortunately, all 176 people on board, including 169 passengers, six crew members, and one engineer, were evacuated via an escape slide without major injury. Three people suffered minor injuries during the evacuation. Firefighters quickly responded, putting out the flames about an hour later. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. This incident follows a deadly plane crash in December.
