Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again praised U.S. President Donald Trump’s idea for rebuilding Gaza after Arab nations slammed the concept. After American allies and Republican lawmakers rebuffed Trump’s suggestions that the U.S. take “ownership” of Gaza and “permanently” resettle Palestinians, Trump’s top diplomat and spokesperson walked them back a bit. Israel's foreign minister said Wednesday that it was essential to think "outside of the box" as he welcomed US President Donald Trump's proposal to settle Palestinians outside the Gaza Strip. Sen. Thom Tillis, (R) North Carolina, says that he believes what the president was trying to say was that things need to be done differently in Gaza.
