However, It is not known where Alexander has been kept hostage. Alexander,21-year-old, was serving as the soldier in the Israeli army. Israel wanted Alexander to be freed on the 1st day of its proposed new truce deal. Hamas Spokesperson Abu Obaida said that they lost contact with Qassam brigades who were guarding Alexander. However, he reiterated that the efforts to establish contact still on, but, fate of hostage and fighters is unknown. Experts claim Netanyahu might use Alexander’s death to escalate Gaza killings. Hamas alleges Israel deliberately killing hostages to not to commit to ceasefire. Israeli airstrike comes days after Hamas released Alexander’s video.
