YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAt least 40 people have been killed after a massive explosion rocked the Shahid Rajaei port in southern Iran. The blast, which took place on the 26th of April, is now being linked to a shipment from China.
As Iranian authorities fail to explain the cause of the explosion, several reports hint at the Chinese shipment, which contained a chemical called ‘sodium perchlorate.’ It is used as an ingredient in rocket propellant and was supposed to be used to replenish Iran's missile stocks, which had been depleted by its attacks on Israel amid the ongoing Gaza war. The port had allegedly received shipments of sodium perchlorate in March 2025. It was delivered by two vessels from China.
