Israel said strikes in Damascus were carried out to prevent attack on Druze population. IDF officials said four strikes targeted ‘extremist groups’ who were planning to attack Druze civilians. The Airstrikes reportedly hit drone launch site and weapons manufacturing unit. Report suggested that two people were killed in the Israeli airstrikes in Syria.
