Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage and joined by Zia Yusuf, today unveiled Operation Restoring Justice—a sweeping five-year emergency program targeting the mass detention and deportation of all illegal migrants, including women and children. The plan calls for the establishment of new detention centers on ex-RAF military sites, capable of housing up to 24,000 individuals at once, alongside a newly formed UK Deportation Command overseeing up to five deportation flights per day. To bypass legal hurdles, the policy proposes withdrawing from the ECHR, repealing the Human Rights Act, and suspending the Refugee Convention for five years. Reform UK estimates implementation will cost £10 billion, with projected savings ranging from £7 to £17 billion. A voluntary return incentive offers deportees £2,500, and agreements may be negotiated with countries like Afghanistan, Eritrea, Rwanda, and Albania. Supporters argue these measures are needed to restore order and sovereignty.
