UK Parliament LIVE: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer warned that all public leaders are now under an “elevated threat environment” after the conviction of Afghan migrant Fayaz Khan for threatening to kill Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in a TikTok video. Khan, 26, who arrived illegally by small boat from Sweden, made a gun gesture, said “pop, pop, pop,” and pointed to an AK-47 tattoo on his face as he referred to “Englishman Nigel,” prompting outrage nationwide. Sentenced to five years in prison, Khan was described by Judge Steyn as a “dangerous man with a pattern of criminality.” He had prior convictions in Sweden for threats, weapon possession, and public violence. Starmer condemned the threat as “unacceptable in a free democracy,” vowing increased protection for MPs from extremist threats. Farage called the case “a brutal reminder of mass migration failure.” Britain’s counterterror officers are now reviewing other online threats linked to migrant accounts.
