Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) delivered a scathing Senate floor speech condemning recent ICE enforcement actions in Chicago, accusing the Trump administration of authorizing “excessive and violent tactics.” Durbin revealed that “over the past several weeks, ICE has disappeared people, used tear gas in residential neighborhoods, and shot at least two residents with live rounds — one fatally.”
