25:10Now PlayingWorld News: Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla launched a fierce attack on the Trump administration during an event in Delhi, India, marking the 65th anniversary of India-Cuba diplomatic relations, warning that Cuba is facing a possible “direct military aggression” from the United States.
Speaking at a gathering organized by the India-Cuba solidarity movement, Rodriguez said the escalating US blockade and sanctions amount to an “act of war” against the Cuban people.
“This is neither paranoia nor a misjudgment,” Rodriguez declared, arguing that repeated statements from senior US officials and recent executive orders signed by President Donald Trump prove the growing threat against Havana. He rejected claims that Cuba poses a danger to US national security, calling them “a deliberate lie.”
Rodriguez also recalled Trump allegedly saying: “I don’t think we can put much more pressure than entering there and destroying everything.” He warned that any military action against Cuba could trigger “unpredictable consequences” for the region and lead to a humanitarian catastrophe. Calling for international solidarity, Rodriguez urged supporters around the world to “tell the truth about what is really going on” in Cuba and resist US pressure campaigns. He ended his speech with a defiant message: “Cuba resists. Cuba does not give in.”
