Highlighting the fragile reality of the situation, Grossi said “there is no peace; there is only a ceasefire,” urging leaders to apply “common sense” and avoid assumptions without verified data. He also referenced past diplomatic efforts, including the Cairo agreement, which aimed to facilitate the return of inspectors but has since been delayed due to renewed conflict.
As tensions persist, Grossi’s remarks serve as a stark reminder that ceasefires do not guarantee stability—and that nuclear oversight remains more critical than ever.
