Jacy Reese, a social scientist at the Sentience Institute studies the farmed animal movement. Based on research he sees a 50% reduction in animal farming by 2050 and the end to the industry globally by the end of the century.

We need to go beyond Veggie Pride as individual diet change and approach animal farming as a social issue. Research shows support for the end to animal farming and support for animal rights are many times greater than the vegan community. That change can come with a focus on policy and institutions.
