What started as a routine traffic stop in Summerfield, Florida on June 23rd, 2025 quickly spiraled into a life-or-death situation that no one on scene expected. Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office initially pulled over a vehicle for simple traffic violations — a faulty stop and failure to maintain lane. Nothing unusual. The driver identified herself as “Brianna,” yet deputies quickly realized something wasn’t adding up. The physical description didn’t match the license. The spelling of the name was off. The birthdate wasn’t memorized. The ID turned out to belong to someone the deputy had personally stopped just days earlier. That’s when the first layer of deception unraveled.

The real name? Rhea Harden.

And that was only the beginning.

During a pat-down, deputies located narcotics and drug paraphernalia. A vehicle search uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana, glass pipes, and packaged narcotics. But even after being searched and placed in handcuffs, something critical was missed.
