In this video I go over 3 things you should know before going to the Maldives. I went to the Maldives and stayed at Emerald Resort & Spa for my honeymoon and wanted to discuss what I wish I knew.
1. I wish I knew more about the Maldives as a country before going there. They have a rich Muslim culture which I didn't know about. The Maldives is made up of 1,100 islands and the best time to go there in terms of weather is November to April. There is no pork, alcohol, or bathing suits allowed on the local islands, but most people go to resorts where it's similar to private property and everything is allowed.
2. I wish I knew how expensive the Maldives is. Luckily, we got all-inclusive and it was so worth it. You should buy things like hats, sunblock, bug repellent, clothes, before going to Maldives
3. Finally, one thing I wish I knew was the cost of Seaplanes.
