After a medical discharge, he went back to serve as a civilian. On Veteran's Day the chain stopped accepting money from Collins and said breakfast was on them from now on. On January 22nd, Collins passed away. After the funeral his family went to Whataburger for lunch in his memory. That's when they saw his name up on the restaurant's marquee. #InsideEdition
