1:04Now PlayingAfter two long years of being chained to a tree Japik the orangutan has finally been set free by International Animal rescue. The orangutan had short heavy chain fastened tightly around her neck. She was given nothing but a narrow plank of wood to sit on and had no shelter from the sun or rain. Japik was being kept as a pet, which is illegal. Her owner surrendered the orangutan to the animal rescue group. She is being taken care of at the group's orangutan rescue and rehabilitation center. #InsideEdition
