1:11Now Playing4 sea lion pups were released back into the wild now that they are healthy enough to survive on their own. The sea lions were found stranded and emaciated. After some much needed rehabilitation and feedings the guys were ready to head back into the ocean. Within the past two weeks, The Channel Island Marine and Wildlife Institute and Shedd Aquarium have rescued and cared for more than 40 sea lions.
