1:08Now PlayingOfficials say Colin Scott was trying to "hot pot" just before he slipped and fell into a boiling hot spring in Yellowstone National Park. Authorities claim the 23-year-old Oregon man went off the safety boardwalk to check the temperature of a geyser. Scott's sister, who was with him at the time, ran to get help before his body dissolved in the boiling liquid. Hot springs in the park can reach up to two-hundred degrees just below the surface. Park authorities claim "hot potting" is prohibited. #InsideEdition
