as posted by the channel

Joe Maldonado, 8, New Jersey, loved being a Boy Scout until he says he was kicked out for identifying as transgender. Joe was born female and claims when the Boy Scouts of America found out, he was asked to leave. Joe's mother took the case to court and now the organization has changed its acceptance policy in Joe's favor. He's received supportive letters from around the world and, while he isn't sure he wants to rejoin the group, says he hopes his story helps others. #InsideEdition
