The 91-year-old was discharged from service after getting injured 21 days into the job. Anderson's sons found out only a year ago after digging up his papers. They arranged for a surprise ceremony at Henri's Diner in California after Samuel finished eating his meal. The veteran was awarded a Purple Heart for his service and thanked by a sea of people there to capture the touching event. #InsideEdition
