A South African Court more than doubled the prison sentence originally imposed on Paralympic gold medalist, Oscar Pistorius. He had been sentenced to six years in prison for killing his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp in 2013. Prosecutors argued it was far too lenient for a murder conviction.
