as posted by the channel

The Smithsonian's National Zoo is celebrating the birth of a western lowland gorilla! Moke was born to mom Calaya and dad Baraka over the weekend. Moke means "junior" or "little one" in the Lingala language, spoken in central Africa. Western lowland gorillas are a critically endangered species, and conservation specialists are delighted with Moke's arrival, as is his doting mother. #InsideEdition
