as posted by the channel

It's a love story that lasted seven decades and it started at a dance over Christmas in 1941. The band was playing Glenn Miller music. Barbara Pierce was just 16 and a handsome George Bush was 17. He was Barbara's first kiss, but World War II interrupted their romance. George became a Navy pilot and he named his torpedo bomber after his girlfriend. He became a war hero after his plane was shot down over the Pacific. The two exchanged dozens of love letters. #InsideEdition
