He blames the 2008 recession for higher prices this season, especially for the short supply of taller trees he’s experiencing. It takes about a decade to grow an eight foot high tree, but now many farmers can't wait that long so they're cutting them down early. Wilk says his prices are up 20 percent. #InsideEdition
