Local police said the accident was caused when the driver tried to perform a U-turn. But instead of executing the turn, the car slid over a guardrail, and nearly into a ditch. The driver and his wife were trapped inside and were only freed when a group of concerned passers-by came to their rescue. #InsideEdition
