1:13Now PlayingAdam Schlesinger, the co-founder of the pop-rock band Fountains of Wayne, has died from coronavirus. Schlesinger wrote the band’s hit 2003 song “Stacy’s Mom,” as well as the theme song for the Tom Hanks movie “That Thing You Do.” Tom Hanks, who has recovered from his fight with the virus, tweeted that he was “terribly sad today,” after learning of his passing. Most recently, Schlesinger was a co-songwriter on the musical comedy-drama, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” #InsideEdition
