Angela Primachenko was 33 weeks pregnant when she tested positive for the coronavirus. She was admitted to the intensive care unit in respiratory distress. She was put in a medically induced coma for eight days, and her baby’s life was in danger. When she awoke, she learned that to improve her and her baby’s chance of survival, doctors had induced delivery while she was in a coma. A week later and for the first time, she was finally able to hold her baby daughter, whom she named Ava. #InsideEdition
