Vivian was a Baptist minister who put his body on the front lines of the struggle for civil rights in the U.S. He helped organize non-violent sit-ins, protests and Freedom Rides across the segregated South in the early 1960s. Vivian was also an advisor to the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Vivian died on July 17th, 2020. #InsideEdition
