On the 19th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, subdued ceremonies and moments of silence were observed across the country. In Washington, DC, an American flag was unfurled on the Pentagon. Flags were held at half staff on the White House and other government buildings. And in Lower Manhattan, at the former site of the Twin Towers, a bell was rung to observe the moments when the planes hit the towers #InsideEdition
