2:16Now PlayingThanks to a new bill in California, AB 2147, inmate firefighters now have the opportunity to have their records expunged upon release. Former inmate Michael Gebre, who is now a CAL Fire firefighter, said the new bill is a "weight off his shoulders" as he previously didn't have the ability to get his EMT license, which is required by most firefighter jobs in the state, because of record. While the bill is a step in the right direction, some experts believe the next step is constitutional reform. #InsideEdition
