In the spring of 1974, Aaron broke Babe Ruth’s all-time home run record of 714, when he hit his 715th home run. When Aaron retired in 1976, he had 755 lifetime home runs, a record that stood for over thirty years. He was elected to baseball’s Hall of Fame in 1982. #InsideEdition
