Nancy was sentenced to 36 years to life, also in June 2011. They are both up for parole in 2034. Dugard’s rescue is one of many that captured America’s attention, like the lives saved in “Miracle on the Hudson” and how a New York City firefighter saved a little girl before the tragedy of September 11. #InsideEdition
