Thanks to Vedant Srinivas from Washington State, roadkill and animal-related incidents on the road, could soon be a thing of the past. The 15-year-old from Eastlake High School says the invention for Equis came after creating something similar last year. He’s already getting recognition for the invention and just won a $5000 reward at a Science and Engineering Fair. He spoke to Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall about his device.
