Dmytro Suiarko is a paralympian who brought home a bronze medal in the men’s middle-distance vision impaired biathlon at the 2022 Beijing Paralympic games. He also scored two more bronze medals and a gold medal at the games earlier this year, but he says when he returned to his hometown of Chernihiv, where he lived and trained for the games, it was badly damaged.
