A Gorgosaurus dinosaur fossil sold for $6.1 million at a New York City auction house. The 9-foot-tall and 22-foot-long dinosaur is a relative of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. They both share similar characteristics like a gigantic head, dozens of sharp curved teeth, and two small arms. According to Sotheby’s, the skeleton was the first of its kind available for private ownership. It was sold to an anonymous buyer.
