Ayman Al-Zawahiri was hiding in a home in downtown Kabul, Afghanistan, when President Joe Biden said U.S. forces used a drone strike to end his life. Al-Zawahiri took over leadership of Al-Qaeda after Osama bin Laden's death in 2011. Biden said he hopes this will give families of those lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks "one more measure of closure."
