Last year, 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley fatally shot four students and injured seven others at Oxford High School in Michigan. The school installed an artificial intelligence program known as ZeroEyes into its 190 security cameras. If someone enters carrying a weapon, the ZeroEyes software zeroes in on the suspect. Within three seconds, it issues an alert to the company headquarters, school staff and first responders.
