as posted by the channel

Country music legend Loretta Lynn died peacefully in her sleep on October 4. During her 60-year musical career, Lynn was a forceful voice for women. From her first hit song in 1960, “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl,” the trailblazer sang about the daily struggles of working-class women. She broke down barriers in the male-dominated world of country music, and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Barack Obama. Loretta Lynn was 90 years old.
