Rapa Nui National Park on Easter Island, which is more than two thousand miles off the coast of Chile, is home to the famous Moai statues. They’re considered sacred as they reportedly date back hundreds of years, created by a Polynesian tribe. About 900 of them still remain, but the fire has already irreparably damaged some of them, according to Chilean officials. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
