Cops believe she was in the 80-degree car for about 45 minutes. Police say the grandfather, 62-year-old David Towner, was remorseful and cooperative. The police report quotes his daughter as saying he has an alcohol problem and "smelled like alcohol" that day. However, Towner says he was sober the whole day. The little girl was later reunited with her mom.
