His work involves delicately carving and assembling thousands and thousands of pencils into large sculptures. Bilal etches and carves intricate details into the pencils, before working them into his constructions. His magnum opus so far is a swing, crafted from 45,000 pencils, which took him over two-and-a-half years to put together. Bilal says he hopes the swing will land him in the Guinness Book of World Records.
