According to Leno, he was trying to fix a clogged fuel line when gasoline sprayed into his face followed by a spark that triggered an explosion. The comedian says his friend saved his life by jumping on him to put out the flames. He remains hospitalized with severe injuries to his face and hands. Leno is expected to remain in the burn center for up to 10 days.
