The tannenbaum towers over a lake in the northern district of Zgharta. It’s meant to call attention to recycling and our reliance on single-use items. One of the exhibit’s organizers told Reuters they wanted to show “a decoration made out of recyclable material that we usually throw away in our life without paying attention.”
