Companies like Frontier Airlines eliminated human phone call interaction entirely, making the calling experience pretty frustrating. Believe it or not, getting angry at the recording can actually serve a purpose, says Adam Goldkamp from the GetHuman website. He says the systems have a way of understanding the tone in someone's voice, which can move you to the front of the queue.
