Elderly Florida Residents Still Sleeping Tents After Hurricane Ian

Hurricane Ian touched down in Florida in late September 2022, and it has been just that long since the elderly residents of Blueberry Lane have slept in their beds. They say insurance companies and the state government have failed them in their time of need. Piles of debris on their once-quiet street have attracted new problems, like rats. For a generation that has already seen and survived so much, Hurricane Ian has left them with more challenges in what should be their golden years.
