Clancy was a labor and delivery nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her lawyers say she was suffering from postpartum depression and psychosis. However, prosecutors say she was clear-thinking and planned the murders. They also claim Clancy used an exercise band to strangle her children to death.
