as posted by the channelThese amusement parks were all abandoned. Six Flags in New Orleans was once one of the nation's premier theme parks. Then came Hurricane Katrina in 2005. In 2020, Coney Island was closed down due to COVID-19, and Inside Edition visited and explored the deserted grounds. In 1976, River Country, Disney World's very first water park, opened. It was shut down in 2001. By 2016, the space was overrun with alligators. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
