Toni Morrison is one of the most important writers of the last century. Now, the celebrated woman of letters will be gracing literal letters, as she’s being honored with a new ‘forever’ postage stamp. Journalist Nadra Nittle told Inside Edition Digital that after Morrison won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993, “she was considered one of our greatest living writers.” Appearing on the stamp, she said, “just shows what a cultural icon she has become.”
